BuchhaltIQ grew out of daily business.
BuchhaltIQ grew out of the day-to-day reality of running a business. We are developing a clear working view for the business, ongoing accounting and the tax advisory firm.
The starting point is always the same question: what needs to become clearer day to day so that a reliable position is ready at month-end?
Get to know BuchhaltIQWhy BuchhaltIQ exists.
We believe accounting belongs closer to the business's daily work. Information should be organized where it arises – before it turns into questions at month-end.
Accounting needs to remain understandable even when time is short. BuchhaltIQ therefore follows concrete tasks rather than the logic of traditional professional software. Banking, receipts, invoices, cash and personnel administration come together in one traceable working view.
Missing receipts, unresolved transactions and upcoming reviews should become visible early – not only when the tax advisory firm has to ask. Technology supports the workflow without obscuring approvals or responsibilities.
How we develop the product.
Product decisions shape how a business will work later. That is why we keep BuchhaltIQ clear, honest and close to its actual purpose.
Start with the real working day.
A feature only becomes valuable to us when it makes a recurring step inside the business easier to understand. We prefer a clear, reliable workflow to additional complexity. Practical use decides, not the length of the feature list.
Keep responsibility visible.
Software may make preparation easier, but it must not create a false sense of professional certainty. Whenever a review, approval or advice remains necessary, we say so explicitly. The business, BuchhaltIQ and the tax advisory firm retain clearly separate responsibilities.
Collaboration instead of handover chaos.
The business and the tax firm should not work from different versions of the truth. BuchhaltIQ organizes the ongoing view so that questions can be resolved sooner and more precisely.
Prefer simplicity.
Clear language, few decisions per step and a calm interface are not decoration. They are prerequisites for accounting to run alongside daily work. Feedback from real use helps us continue refining these workflows.
