BuchhaltIQ is built for owner-run hospitality businesses: receipts are captured where they arise, bank transactions and the cash book run alongside the day, and open items are visible before the month ends. A few minutes a day instead of a weekend at month-end.

Hospitality has its own rules: food at 7 %, drinks at 19 %, often on the same receipt. In BuchhaltIQ such receipts can be split into line items with the right VAT rate, so input tax and the DATEV handover add up. The app runs on iPhone, iPad and Android.

From the till into the books: PosIQ Connect.

PosIQ is the point-of-sale app from the same company. Pair it with BuchhaltIQ using a pairing code, and closed daily reports arrive in the cash book without a CSV detour.

If you use a different till, you keep the cash book in BuchhaltIQ as before. PosIQ is an addition, not a requirement.

Can I do my own bookkeeping and still work with my tax advisor?

Yes. BuchhaltIQ does not replace tax advice; it prepares the running record in the business: receipts, bank transactions, cash book and staff data. Your tax firm receives structured data via DATEV and continues from there. See how the collaboration works

What does BuchhaltIQ cost?

Which banks can be connected?

Business accounts are connected through a licensed banking interface. Transactions appear in the running record and can be matched to receipts. The quickest way to check your bank is the free trial. See banking in BuchhaltIQ

How does the data reach DATEV?

Depending on the configured setup, the DATEV Rechnungsdatenservice 1.0 and the DATEV Lohnaustauschdatenservice transfer released receipt and payroll data to your tax firm. DATEV remains the target system; BuchhaltIQ prepares and hands over. See the DATEV handover

Does BuchhaltIQ run on iPhone and Android?
